Privacy Policy — Campaign Trail: Election Sim

Last updated: 2 September 2026

The short version

Campaign Trail is an offline game. It has no account, no login, and no server of ours. Your campaign, your settings and any crash report stay on your phone. We cannot see them, and there is nowhere for us to see them from.

What the game stores on your phone

What leaves your phone

Two things, and only if you are online:

  1. Advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob. When an ad is shown, Google — not we — may read your device's advertising identifier, along with information such as approximate location, device identifiers, app interactions and diagnostics, and use it to choose and measure the ad. What Google does with it is described in their own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked first, and refusing means you see non-personalised ads rather than fewer features. If you buy the ad-free option, no ads are requested at all.
  2. A settings file. The game may download a small configuration file that controls how often ads may appear. It is a download only: nothing about you is sent with the request beyond what any web request carries.

The game itself — the story, the map, the campaign — never needs the internet.

Purchases

Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card, your name or your address. We see only that a purchase was made, so the game can unlock what you bought. Purchases are kept separate from your campaign and are never erased by starting a new one.

Children

The game is not directed at children. It is satire about an election, written for a teenage and adult audience, and it is filed that way in the store.
